Epsilon Omicron Chapter at University of Central Florida

Kappa Delta

Letter to Parents

Dear Parents,

As president of the Epsilon Omicron chapter of Kappa Delta, it is my privilege to welcome your daughter to the University of Central Florida and also to the national organization of Kappa Delta!

Kappa Delta at the University of Central Florida always strives for that which is honorable, beautiful and highest. We stand out on our campus for many reasons. Our chapter’s most recent accomplishments were being graded a level three chapter, the most prestigious ranking, for the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life’s Standard of Excellence program and being ranked first in academics among all Greek councils at UCF.

As a chapter, we were also able to contribute over $13,000 toward Knight-Thon 2016 at the University of Central Florida benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network. In addition, we host Kappa Delta Shakedown and were able to raise a record-breaking $25,000 for Children’s Home Society of Central Florida and Prevent Child Abuse America. We also partner with the Girl Scouts of the USA throughout the year, hosting events each semester with local troops, in an effort to instill confidence in young women.

Membership into Kappa Delta Sorority will without a doubt enhance your daughter’s college experience, and I know that everything she puts into Kappa Delta she will receive back. My hope is that you will find that this organization will provide opportunities that inspire your daughter to greatness, and provide her with memories she will always cherish. Membership is a privilege that comes with great responsibility. We expect our members to excel academically, participate in campus activities that will improve her leadership skills, give back to the community, and fulfill the financial responsibilities that make the existence of our chapter possible.

In my three years at the University of Central Florida, Kappa Delta has given me friends that have become my family, the comfort of a place to call my own on this large campus, and a willingness to strive each day to become the best version of myself.  We cannot wait to welcome your daughter into our circle of friendship as an initiated sister and lifelong member!

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact myself or our Vice President of Member Education, Kristina Seeber. I look forward to a wonderful year and anticipate introducing your daughter to the close sisterhood we have at Kappa Delta at the University of Central Florida. I hope to see you all at family weekend!

All my love in AOT,

Tiffany Phetsadasack
