About Kappa Delta
In 1897, four young women at State Female Normal School of Virginia (now Longwood University) joined together with a common vision — to create something “higher and nobler,” an organization that would empower women through friendship and high ideals. Over 125 years later, the sorority continues to live the dream of its founders by providing a lifelong experience for our members through support and sisterhood.
The Kappa Delta experience offers members the chance to leave their mark on the future and impact the lives of members and those in need around the world. Contributions to the Kappa Delta Foundation from alumnae, collegians and friends enable the sorority to further its philanthropic efforts, local community outreach programs, as well as scholarships and educational opportunities for members.

Our Values
Our four values – friendship & loyalty, personal integrity, lifelong learning, and selfless service – were created by our founders to help each Kappa Delta woman become the best version of herself.
Our Colors and Symbols
Kappa Delta's colors are olive green and pearl white; our jewels are the diamond, emerald and pearl; our symbols include the white rose, nautilus shell and dagger; and our mascot is the teddy bear.
About Epsilon Omicron
Since its establishment at the University of Central Florida on May 27, 1978, the Epsilon Omicron Chapter of Kappa Delta has been committed to empowering women through leadership, scholarship, service, and lifelong friendship. As one of UCF's longest-standing Panhellenic organizations, our chapter has built a legacy of confident women who strive to make a meaningful impact both on campus and throughout the Central Florida community.Today, Epsilon Omicron is home to a diverse group of women united by Kappa Delta's values of friendship, personal integrity, lifelong learning, and selfless service. Through leadership opportunities, academic achievement, philanthropy, and sisterhood, our members are encouraged to grow into compassionate leaders who inspire confidence in themselves and others.Our chapter is proud to be recognized for its commitment to service and community impact. This year alone, we raised over $160,000 through our annual Kappa Delta Shakedown philanthropy event, benefiting Prevent Child Abuse America and our local beneficiary, Children's Home Society of Florida. Beyond fundraising, our members volunteer throughout the year with Children's Home Society and local Girl Scout troops, reflecting our dedication to serving others long after our events have ended.Whether we're welcoming a new member, planning campus events, serving our community, or celebrating lifelong friendships, the women of Epsilon Omicron are united by a shared purpose: building confidence, inspiring action, and creating a legacy that extends far beyond our years at UCF.
